OUR ROOTS RUN DEEP

When we say the Snake River runs through our veins, it's literal. My family has been farming and ranching in the Snake River Valley for four generations. The Snake River is where we've drawn water for our crops, for our cattle, and even ourselves. The Snake River is our scenic view, where we recreate, and now where we breed our Maine Coon Kittens.

The course of the Snake River is constant and consistent. Our goal as breeders is to be the same. Our commitment to ourselves and to you is to be ethical and outstanding in breeding healthy, genetically diverse Maine Coon kittens with the sweet dispositions that have made this breed so popular. Secondary is our aim to breed for the wild European look. Our Founding cats exemplify all of the above traits and as we add more cats to our program, we will seek to find cats that are just as outstanding.

Ceili (Kay-Lee)

Founder & Breeder

I was born in Southeast Idaho, but spent most of my childhood just south of Portland Oregon. We returned to Idaho in 2019 and I learned welding in my high school shop classes. I'm currently employed in a machine shop where I get to weld, operate cool machines, and make money to support my kittens while my cattery gets off the ground. I've always had a very emotional connection to animals and always surrounded myself with as many animals as my parents would allow. Breeding animals was always something I wanted to do, and after discovering how amazing Maine Coon cats are, I started saving my money to make this dream come true. I quickly learned that acquiring a breeding pair of Maine Coons was no easy task. I was shut down by breeder after breeder, most of which hung up on me as soon as I asked about breeding rights. After searching all over the country I finally found a breeder close to home. I connected with an amazing and helpful breeder named Cass, at Idaho Maine Coons who was willing to mentor me as I learn the ins and outs of breeding Maine Coons. Cass provided our founding cats from her impressive program, and now I'm so excited to be a Maine Coon breeder myself!

Lucky

Social Integration Specialist

Cat Herder

Perpetual Employee of the Month

Lucky is a native born Idahoan. He is 3/4 German Shephard and 1/4 lab, and 100% goodest boy. He loves his new housemates and excels in his role as Social Integration specialist. All the kittens from our program will have experience with a loving but spatially challenged 110 lb. dog. Lucky protects our kittens and utilizes his strong herding instincts to keep kittens from wandering off if they're ever off leash. He is a huge asset to our program and Snake River Maine Coons is lucky to have his expertise.

FACILITIES

Our cattery is equipped with spacious and comfortable indoor/outdoor environment designed to cater specifically to the needs of our Maine Coons. Fun & Engagement

The play area is thoughtfully designed for activity and interaction, allowing our kittens to socialize and exercise in a safe setting. We believe in stimulating their natural instincts.
